Yes, those are my actual feet on my actual welcome mat. I love this mat because it’s been outside my actual door to welcome folks for many years, Now it’s there to welcome virtual friends. That makes me smile.
Its AKA the day that I get to reveal the “Star” I’ve been working on for the WISH UPON A STAR blog hop. I’m thrilled to say hey to everyone who stops by.
First things first, here are the rules for the folks who are hopping along with me, (as copied from the blog hop host, Carol at – Just Let Me Quilt.
The blog hop rules are simple:Your project must have a star somewhere on it.
It can be a star block, a star applique, or star shaped purse..whatever.
It can be big or small. As long as it has a star, you’re in!Post your project on your assigned day.Have a giveaway or don’t have a giveaway. It’s totally optional!
Visit everyone’s blog on the list and leave a sweet comment.
With no further ado, here is the list of star struck bloggers posting today.
And here is the list for the rest of the Hop

Here is my Entry… A Star is Born – I think I will call her Barbara.
These photos were taken in mid-April in my yard, my neighbour’s yard, and also in the yard at mom’s house. Thanks to all for letting me traipse around your space looking for a perfect picture taking spot.
This smallish quilt was birthed following a “Wonky Star” Instagram block exchange that I participated in way back in the dead of winter. In January I constructed and mailed out 14 stars and in February I received all these beautiful wonky stars from bloggers all over the world. I know, Lucky Me. They are all gawjus and every one of them got along perfectly with the others.
Don’t you just love it when all the stars align so perfectly? This is gonna be a fabulous day. Enjoy!
P.S. On April 28, this beautiful little star quilt was donated to a silent auction held to benefit one of my niece’s coworkers who had a CVA or stroke. I’m glad that I had this little quilt available for this excellent cause.
