Trinket SAL – First 2 weeks done

Are you sewing along with Alison Glass in the Trinket SAL?  I jumped in right at the beginning and  I’m loving it.  If you’re following along on Instagram or Facebook, you must be thoroughly ahhhstruck by the tiny trinkets being put together by people all over the Quilty Universe.

I chose to use mostly Sun Prints Path and Sun Prints Day Dream from Alison Glass that I picked up from Clinton Modern Creative.  However, snippets from other collections are already breezing in to make this into a modern masterpiece.

The blocks are all paper-pieced and in the pattern booklet, they are all 4 1/2″.  I photocopied all the patterns at 150 percent, so my blocks are 6″ unfinished.  This combined with plain blocks will allow me to end up with a good sized throw quilt.  Come back soon to see how next week’s blocks turned out.
