This is my little star quilt. It was born following a wonky star block swap back in early 2018.
Swappers built star blocks like the beauty below in January and mailed them out in February. Then we waited with bated breath (what is bated breath and it is related in some way to fish bait? Yuck) Anyhoo, by the end of March I had enough beautifully unique stars in my possession to put together this great little quilt. I know lucky me! How often do the stars align so perfectly.
On April 28, this delightful little star quilt was donated to a silent auction held to benefit one of my niece’s coworkers who had a CVA or stroke and was receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown PEI. I’m glad that I had this little quilt available for this excellent cause.
PS. This is my first entry into the 2018 Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
Love the stars, perfect layout and the sashing is just perfect–it makes the stars shine.

Hi Velda! This is a fabulous quilt to share in the quilt festival. I love all the different wonky stars, and I especially love the background fabric you chose to tie them all together. ~smile~ Roseanne
